Matthew Regan, MSW, RSW
Matthew Regan, MSW, RSW is a Master’s level social worker and member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Matthew received his Master’s degree in Social Work from McGill University in Montreal. For over 10 years, Matthew has worked with youth and adults within hospitals and community settings. He has also been in partnerships and training with the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre.
Matthew believes that every client’s situation is unique and, therefore, he draws from a number of different evidence-based approaches to meet the needs of his clients. He has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. He has extensive experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, workplace stress and burnout, and addictions. As a husband and father, and having served in the Canadian Forces, Matthew is familiar with the life stressors that many face. Matthew is currently accepting new patients both virtually and in person. Matthew is bilingual and accepting patients in both official languages.
